A few couples (5.5) got away and went to Nashville for a double 40th birthday a couple of weeks ago. We surprised them with the other couples coming and had the best time!!!

Basketball
Basketball season was great for these two kiddos. They learned a lot, improved a lot, got to spend time with dad and lot and both had fun. They like basketball and I’m glad, it’s a great sport to watch and they are fun to watch!!
Nora’s team won the district championship and DF’s team got runner up. Proud of both of them!

DF goes to the Sugar Bowl
DF had a great opportunity over New Years, to go to New Orleans for the first time. Baylor played in the Sugar Bowl and DF is a new fan of the Bears. Especially after the Razorbacks tough time.
He got to go to the WWII museum, ride a cable car, see bourbon street 😳, go to the sugar bowl and had a great time with lots of firsts. He got to be with his great aunts, ate lobster, oysters, and more. He had great cousin bonding time with Robbie and special time with his grandparents that he will always remember. What a treat, as Mommie Boo would say!
Duck hunting
The boys have enjoyed a lot of outdoor guy time. Ikeys first year to duck hunt and he likes it- maybe? He wants to keep the dead ducks?? DF loves it and loves being with his buddies outside.

Decade challenge
Christmas sweater party edition.
These Santa sweatshirts (that my mom made for me to wear as a dress in the last 80s- early 90s) have stood the test of time. The picture on the left is us at a party when we were 29, the one on the right we are 39. Franklin only for one more month!!
Christmas party day
Parents aren’t invited to school parties any more which is sad to me, but they seemed to have a lot of fun. Nora had a winter wonderland theme and made ornaments and crafts and loved every minute of it.
