K-Kountry 2018

These two went to Kamp!  First time for Nora and second for DF.  They had the time of their lives and DF asked for 2 weeks next summer!  They were not ready to come home, learned a lot, grew a foot each and really bonded over the week.  DF would find Nora every free time and I said was it to check on her, and he said "No, I wanted to play with her.  She was fun."  Love that and love them.  They both won the Barnabus award in their cabins and were named the Encouragers.  Nora also received a camp wide award, the Unsung Hero award.  SO proud of them both!   But happy to have them back :)

And we celebrated big time at Meme and Grandpa's pool for a Mermicorn party with Blakely!  They had a bunch of little girls swarming the pool complete with a DJ, that really made the party!  Hula hoop contests, line dances and cake.  She had a wonderful time and is a day she will remember for a long time.  Thanks Meme and Grandpa!!!!

Nora gets a new-do!

Pauline took Nora to her beauty shop to get her hair braided.  Nora was thrilled and came home with 4 braids.  It was a special morning with time spent together and it melted my heart.  We love Ms. Paula and she adores these kiddos.  She says they are hers. Nora loved her braids and felt like a million bucks :)
