On Valentine's Day afternoon, DF has a long awaited appointment to see if he could stop wearing his boot and the answer is YES! His leg looks so much better and xray looks good so he is free to take it off at home and school. Just to be extra safe, he is going to wear it playing sports, on the playground, and during PE for another month or so. We are thrilled that the Lord answered our prayers and this boy is healing so well! We were told 8-10 weeks and it's been 17 weeks so it's been a long hard season but we are through it and are praying for more healing and protection in the future! Happy to see this smile come so easily again :)

Valentines Day
Speaking of traditions, every Valentine's Day we use Aunt Lois' heart shaped muffin tins to make heart shaped blueberry muffins, just like my mom did when I was a kid. Jason and the Morphews to the same thing in LA. We all have our muffins in the morning. We are only allowed to go to Isaac's class parties now so we really enjoyed it! But the talk of the day was the mystery Valentine DF got from a secret admirer. We have no idea who sent this Valentine to him, but we hope to crack the case soon.
Our baby is 5!
These kids love tradition, and balloons outside their doors on their birthday mornings are a must have. Isaac also wanted banana pudding for his cake this year instead of cake so Nora and Mammers made this for him. It was delicious! Nora made him a special sign to wear to school and he got to take donuts to his class and had a wonderful birthday. We love celebrating our boy and are SO thankful for him~

Ikey's 5th Birthday celebration
For Isaac's bday, he wanted Connor to come and have their first ever sleepover. We went bowling, ate dinner, had TCBY cookies for dessert, watched a movie and they slept in the playroom. It was such a fun night for these friends since birth and they'd been counting down the minutes. It was a perfect way to celebrate our 5 year old baby boy!!! We love you more than words can say, Isaac. You bring joy and smiles to our faces each and every day.
Nora is a baller!
Nora is playing Upward Bound Basketball for the first time and she is loving it! We also love watching her, she is scrappy and a go getter and we are all having a blast watching her. She's scoring multiple shots a game and is quite the defensive player. We are proud of our #3!
15 years without David
Some years the anniversary aren't as bad/hard. Hard but not as bad. This one, and the number 15 was. I spoke about David to Nora and DF in a different, more real way and I told them funny stories about him.
People think Nora looks like me in this pic...?
