Tiny dancer

Nora performed ballet in her dance recital last night and did incredibly well. She was front and center and nailed every move. So much fun to watch her shine on stage!

Reading to DF's class

This is from a FB post from Mrs. Davenport's class page. We had so much fun and brought ice cream sandwich treats. Each student sent homemade thank you cards to us yesterday. Precious!!

Ram basketball camp

David F attended Ram basketball camp after school three days this week. He loved it but I have to remember this.... The first day when I picked him up he said "mom, you didn't send me any money for the confession stand!" I will always call it that I believe. What a spiritual boy. He did great and he and Avery McBride both got the same award, the "teammate award" for encouraging and picking up the other players. So proud of him!! He was thrilled.

This is Coach White and he coached Jason and David. (More Jason). DF thought that was pretty cool!

Nora graduates from Pre-K

Nora had her last chapel and received her certificate of completion of preschool. She's ready for the real deal now...kindergarten here she comes!!

Book club at the Farm

Nora hosted book club and ended our Kevin Henkes author study at the farm. A few girls couldn't make the drive but those who did had a great time. Wide open spaces to explore and squeals and giggles galore.  Thanks to the super talented, Shannon LaDuke aka Ruthie's mommy for taking these great pics of a great afternoon!

Lately school days

Nora had taekwando awards and she is really great and yells her "yes sir" and hyiah's!
She also had a field trip to Mid America Museum that Isaac got to crash with me :) We started the day at Shipley for a donut.

Nora loves these girls, Ari and Olivia and kept calling them her sisters.  Never wanted to leave their sides.

Sad to leave.
Franklin came and spoke to DF's class for career day. He brought coloring books and talked to the kids about banking and money and DF said he talked about needs and wants. I heard he did a great job and DF was super proud and got to introduce him!

Women Build day for Habitat for Humanity

I was asked if I'd be interested in helping this morning in building a house for Habitat for humanity. I said yes!! A few girls from our church said yes too but as time got closer, a lot backed out. I won't lie, last night I almost did too and I drove my own car in case I needed an escape but it was such a fun day. Totally out of my comfort zone and I was doing things I've never done before but I learned so much and want to go back and do it again. I think I may be sore tomorrow after driving all of those nails but it was a great day and experience!!! The kids got a big kick out of seeing these pictures. I was filthy and have a huge new respect for manual laborers. That's harder than it looks!! Hotter too.
