Nora class party was today and it was pajama day, this makes for one happy girl!! Baby brother is so lucky because he gets to hit all of the parties, he even joined the kids during their song program and tried to sing along :)

Nora and her sweet teacher, Ms. Etter
The fruit was a hit! Nora didn't even eat her cupcake and asked for thirds on the honey do cut out into Christmas trees. Very thankful for happy children that love school and good teachers that take great care of them.

DF's school party

DF had a breakfast with the elves party at school this year. Isaac is a big hit with the class and they all take him around. They also asked where is Nora because we've all visited quite a bit and I'm pretty sure DF tells stories about his family a lot :)
Ikey took his brother's seat.
DF and Emma were the snowmen in the game. Here the are with their sweet teacher, Mrs. Davenport. He said I'm melting, haha!

Beverly Hills, what a thrill!

Franklin and I made a weekend trip to LA for one of his oldest friends, Greg Beck's, wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and reception and we were honored to be there. It was also lots of fun! And of course, it wouldn't be possible with out awesome grandparents watching our babies for us. Thank you guys!!

Rooftop cocktail hour at the Jonathan Club in downtown LA

Friday night dinner at an exotic new "it" place where we tried our first dish of bone marrow...well we ordered it and Franklin is the one that actually tried it.
The groom and his arkadelphia buddies. Franklin has been friends with Greg Beck from Mother's Day out school when they were 3! Chad probably just as long. They were happy to be together!

Santa, Santa and more Santa!

What a full weekend in we had this first one in December. Franklin went on his Buddy Hunt in George West so he missed our fun, but I am sure he had plenty himself!
The Halls came with us after school and we headed straight to orange leaf.
Where ikey begged for bites
On Saturday we went to breakfast with Santa at St. Lukes. Meme came with us and we were happy about that! Especially this little guy!
They made picture frames
Had pancakes
And visited with the big guy!
Nora wanted her picture taken with Santa and Blakely her best friend from school. This was a super cute moment!
Then we were off to Book Club where Santa showed up again! Santa's helper really.
They roasted s'mores
Nora was excited to share with the group- she is not shy!
On Sunday was the children's Christmas program at church. They did a wonderful job. DF got tired... It was a lot of singing
He was either yawning or really getting with it here and I'm not sure which. He went back and fourth pretty often and even had a brief moment of air guitar which was the highlight for me!!
Nora loved the stage and performing and took it very seriously.
This baby loved watching and was waving to his brother.
Then we went to Santa Brunch at HSCC to celebrate Grandpa's birthday from earlier in the week and the Vaughts came too which is always big fun for my kiddos.  DF was trying to get his baby brother to look at the camera and put him in a semi headlock to get him to look at the camera, and no tears this year!
Nora went to get on Santa's lap twice today and is convinced this is not one of Santa's helpers but is the real Santa. I think she's right! I also think I should sent this directly to Coca-Cola for their ads for next year ;)
Happy birthday Grandpa!

Thankful Thanksgiving

We travelled to Fayetteville this year for Thanksgiving and I can't remember the last time I spent that holiday with my dad.  It was a wonderful visit, a great meal, and a nice change up this year. We went on a few walks with the dogs (who were big buddies from the start), saw the Christmas lights on the square, played, and a few went to the razorback game and a few went to a friends house where it was warm and dry! (Me and the littles) We named what we were thankful for and there were lots of things listed, but we could still go on. It's a blessed life we live and I'm very thankful for it.

Pops and his turkey.
'Kids table'
Ikey was a fan

Nora liked her pops- she thought he was pretty funny and loved acting silly.

Maple was great and worn out!

DF got his picture taken with the Duke at breakfast Friday morning.
