Isaac got his first haircut today and did great!! (We wait until they are 2 years old for the first haircuts). He was still and loved the attention. He went after his brother and sister and so he was happy it was his turn. He loved the Penguins on his cape and was feeling pretty cute! We saved his curls of course :)
We had an after school play date party at an indoor playground at a local church. Young and older kids love that playground! We invited a few friends and their brothers and sisters and celebrated our 2 year old. Cupcakes and cheese balls is all those kids need to be happy. Such a fun afternoon. All 3 Bass kids loved it and loved opening his presents :)
A little comparison.... Same shirt different boys. Whoa, do these brothers look alike?!
Isaac is 2 years old today!! He's joy, and sweetness and hugs and we all love him to smithereens!!
Last night at dinner as we were eating the cake the kids all helped make him, DF and Nora were talking about how much they love Isaac. DF said, I love him so much and when I'm sad he can always cheer me up. Nora said I love playing with Isaac and pretending he's my son. All the while, he was nodding a big slow nod saying "yeah".
He's a fun loving guy who loves animals, slides, balls, fishing poles, trucks and tractors, being outside, playing and mostly everything. He does not like missing out and likes everyone to be together.
He's true delight to our family and everyone around him. Happy birthday, baby boy! You are one loved dude.
I am Amanda and I love being a wife and mother. I have the family of my dreams! Motherhood is the most fulfilling, exhausting, rewarding, difficult, fun, and important calling on my life right now. Franklin and I have been married for over 9 years and I am lucky I get to live life with such a great husband and father. We are the proud parents of David Franklin, Nora and Isaac. We have a puppy, Maple, who has added lots of energy to the house! ;) We love to travel, spend lots of time with family and friends and really appreciate all of our blessings in life! This blog is an online journal, scrapbook/ baby book for our growing, busy, wild, little family. If you are looking for grammatically correct, politically correct, stimulating information on current events, I am sorry I can't provide that for you here, but I can tell you what my children are up to and how they are growing on a semi-regular basis. That is in between changing diapers, kissing boo boos, and pouring the chocolate milk!
Welcome to the Bass Family Blog! :)
